The College of Agriculture, Science and Technology (CAST), Obubra, Cross River State, has announced fresh admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
In a statement signed by the Registrar, Dr. Gabriel Ojie Osang, the institution invited qualified candidates to apply for its diverse academic programmes tailored to equip students with practical skills in agriculture, science, and technology.
Dr. Osang emphasized that all the academic programmes offered by the College have been duly approved by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), assuring prospective students and parents of the institution’s full accreditation status and adherence to national academic standards.
He disclosed that application forms are now available online and that prospective applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Twenty-Five Thousand Naira (₦25,000.00) only into the College account with United Bank for Africa (UBA), Account Number: 1028613027, Account Name: College of Agriculture.
According to the Registrar, proof of payment, completed application forms, and relevant credentials must be uploaded via the College portal at www.castobubra.ng/applications, urging candidates to carefully follow the application guidelines.
The available ND programmes include Animal Health and Production, Forestry and Environmental Technology, Fisheries Technology, Horticulture and Landscape Technology, Computer Science Technology, Hospitality and Tourism Management, as well as a Pre-National Diploma/Remedial Programme.
At the HND level, programmes offered are Animal Production Technology, Crop Production Technology, Fisheries Technology, Forestry Technology, Agri-Business Management, and Agricultural Extension and Management.
Beyond the diploma programmes, the College also offers certificate courses in Veterinary Clinic Assistant, Forest/Game Management, Beekeeping and Honey Production, Fingerlings Production, Mushroom Production, and Snail Farming.

He further stated that the purchase of forms commenced on Monday, 16th February 2026, and will close on Tuesday, 17th March 2026, at midnight.
